University of Annaba

The University of Badji Mokhtar -Annaba- , Annaba University (Arabic:جامعة عنابة - باجي مختار ) located in Annaba north eastern Cost of Algeria. One Of The Biggest Universities in Algeria, it was founded in 1975 and is organized into seven (7) faculties.

History

The University of Annaba, one of the biggest Algerian university was established in 1975 (under the Law of 28/75 of 29th April 1975). This creation, however was from the infrastructure of the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Annaba University Badji Mokhtar-Annaba-was a progressive development with opening of new branches every year.

First organized into departments attached to the Rector, the university has seen in 1980, the creation of five institutions Social Sciences, Humanities ​​and Arabic Literature, Natural Sciences, Exact Sciences and Technology, Medical Sciences.

Organization

These are the seven faculties in which the university is divided into:

• Faculty of Political Sciences and Information
• Faculty of Human, Letters and Social Sciences
• Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences
• Faculty of Law
• Faculty of Medicine
• Faculty of Engeneering
• Faculty of Earth Sciences
